    Dark Impact

    Hiya,

     Just finished up on my Dark Impact. My own paint job rather than the OOTB deal. Stock standard at this stage apart from a slipper clutch and plastic inserts on the inside of the wheel rims to avoid stuff getting jammed up inside (mainly bark chips from the school playground out the back of my mates place.)

    All new to the RC life, so i'm still finding my feet, and trying to decide which hop up to put on it first :).

    Will look to post more photo's soon once i take a few when i'm actually racing it around the place. Quite hard to steer and take photos at the same time, so when it comes to racing around a dirt track or taking a photo of it racing around a dirt track..... I know which i'd rather be doing :)heh

    Hay man. whats a deep impact? i just got a Dark impact is it the same sort of catagory of car?..

    Hiya Darren. Thanks for the photos and comments. Yeah, you are not only one mate. Lots of people are getting RC bugs with all the Tamiya re-leased version or RC cars. Hot Shot will be added to the list in July sometimes as well!!! Looking foward to see your RC cars in action. Cheers.

    Recently got into RC cars when I bought a Re-released Tamiya Hornet, which I can remember from when I was a kid. Built it, blasted around with it, caught the RC bug. I have since bought a Tamiya Deep Impact which i am just starting to build up. Will get around to posting pics of both in action soonish.

    Posted pics of some of the 1/48 scale planes I have built just to actually get my page looking less like a ghost town :).
